Yaumul Jumaat
Alhamdulillah, the
best day of all…yaumul Jumaat…yaumul barakah or the bless day….and the new
entry for a new month.
This Jummat denotes
the last day of Jumaat in Rejab. We are about to embark on Syaaban and later on
the holy month of Ramadhan.
These 2 months
(Rejab and Syaaban) come with them historical and meaningful event such as
Rasulullah first hijrah to Habsyah (Ethiopia) , Isra' and Mikraj, Tabuk War, the reclaimed or recaptured of
Baitul-Muqqadis by Salahuddin Al-Ayubi (sadly in 1967, Israel occupied
Baitul-Muqqadis till present) and the birth of Iman Syafie RH.
In Syaaban,
certainly one will remember about Nifsu Syaaban and other than that which I can
recall is the changed of qiblat from
Masjidil Aqsa to Masjidil Haram. Yes,
there are other meaningful event….you can simply google and get the info…..
Personally these 2
months is a tamrin month (training), to train me to fast, to train me to be
steadfast in Quranic recitation and to start planning on sadaqa, who to give,
the amount and how.... Hence, come Ramadhan I would be more than ready to
continue to reap the benefits. Yes, I pray that all of us will be endowed with another chance of meeting Ramadhan, not only that, I pray for a good health, be strong to incarcerate the evil in me....huhuhu..and to permeate this to other months....Aaamin....
Jummat is nearly
