Berita dari saya – The Journey continues
-
Salam hormat kepada Tuan & Puan yang mungkin juga menerima rawatan & follow
up bersama saya di Hospital IJN. Saya ingin berkongsi satu berita penting.
Saya...
I always love
football since I was in primary school. I used to stay back after school just to
be with a few boys friends in the school yard to play football or ping-pong.
Yes, I enjoyed kicking the ball around and once a while listened to their
tactical discussion. Don’t be surprise if I say I know 4-4-2 formation, 5-3-2
hehehe..from them when I was 9-10 years of age.. I have known the positions well, full back, left back, winger,
stopper, playmaker …hihihi and I can read the rules in the game well….corner kick,
offside, free kick..
I used to have a
football scrap book…yes…I cut photos of few favourite players and put them in
the scrap books. Well, I did not have
enough money to buy the so called a player card and put them nicely inside the
collector album at that time ....so I had a scrap book. Few Man
United players dominated the pages, the likes of Ryan Giggs, Roy Keane, Robbo,
Sparky, George Best, also from Azzuri team such as Alessandro Del Piero
(my all time Italian player), Gatusso, Pirlo,
fewer from other countries such as
Pavel Nedvek, Cambiasso, etc…For the local heroes, I only have Mokhtar Dahari, Akmal Rizal (following him since his stint in Hagenau) and Fandi Ahmad (opsss...Singaporean rite)...
My interest towards
Man United seriously started with a legend hailed from France, a stubborn but
genius player who Sir Alex brought from Leeds United and had a flying kick
towards fan at the Selhurt Park..hihihii and I was also amazed with the Welsh
wizard Mr Ryan Joseph Wilson or Giggs..These 2 players chained me to Man United
until at the present time…
So obviously am not
a bandwagon..People always said that women fans are bandwagon, a glory hunter,
looking only at handsome guy running sweat on the pitch… I would definitely
laugh at this accusation… I watched Euro matches at wee hours together with my
partner in crime G in the univ common room..hehehe.. I was a regular visitor of
Man United club house in section 17 when I was at UIA matric centre… I have a team which I managed in Fantasy
Premier League Manager ….hahahhha …and Yes, I did not play football myself….and
I never will....not even futsal. Am not crazy over Beckham,
Ronaldo, etc..but I admire their talent and attitude. Beckham always arrived
early for a training and always be the last to leave the training ground just
want to practice his passing and free kick. So no wonder he is the dead-ball specialist…ermm…In fact, he was away from home (his home in London) since he
was 10 years old..stay in Manchester with a care taker, to be with United
academy and his sacrifice indeed a worth. Every success need to work hard, commitment and discipline…a reminder to me…
This entry is about
football so…this coming Saturday is a final match Kelantan vs ATM.. Kelate is
looking for a treble and ATM definitely wants to put their name on the trophy
and a place in the Malaysian Cup history. What I like about Kelate fans is their
attitude..I mean the good one not the one who create a chaos on the pitch and
outside stadium.. I like their spirit to support the team..driving a long
way from kelate to the stadium, wearing either a white or red jersey on the
match day, car decorated with Kelate
flag and this similar scenario I have seen in England during a World cup
tournament. On the match day, I can see them wearing the England jersey
everywhere on the roads or in the post office or shops. I was astonished to see
the post-office officer wearing the jersey at work… that's the spirit. The
shops closed early as they either rush home to watch the telly or be a
the local pubs to cheer the team on live telecast. Not only that, their houses, shops, buildings
are decorated with flags…
Can you see these in Malaysia when the Harimau Malaya
team in action on that day? Yes you may find them on the street wearing
jersey on the ways to the stadium but not while working..ermm..and the Malaysian flag only display on the National day celebration... smirk!
To The Red Warrior
Team "Gomo Kelate Gomo". Be nice and steady inside the stadium
regardless of what happen on the pitch. Hoping that the referee will be at
their best…Those friends all the way from Kelate …safe journey yaa… Me? I will
be at home only entertain myself with a live telecast on telly, praying that
TRW will win (regardless of what the rumours said)…
I always feel that I am not good enough to write about TRW..so I just leave this to the expert to say their thoughts....
By the way…Jom Puasa

Yeah people it is
already October …ermm...
How time flies so fast. It is irony how
dreadful time would be for different people and how anxious they can be or how
happy they can be when the word time is mentioned. Some might be counting days
on the big day…ermm, some might be counting hours to switch off the computer to
be home after long hours at work, some might pray the time will stop as to
capture the joyful moment, some would wish the clock will strike slow, so that
many tasks can be done in a day, some would hope time will heal the pain and
grief of losing the beloved one, some may pray for extra time at the dying minute so there is a slim chance of winning the game, some would be counting days, second, to pack
the bag and travel, to complete the study, to meet the supervisor (hehehe), to be reunited with the
loved one, family, a nervous time waiting for a result after viva voce, some pray harder to have more time to live and repent, and of course at the time of writing I am waiting for my rice (using rice cooker tapi)...hehehe
Yes….T.I.M.E is the
centre of Allah's creation…look at how time brings an individual from one stages to another, from infant to toddler
to kid to youth to adult to old age and eventually died or the process of dying can be somewhere in
between. Everything works in a
prescribed time. There is a precise time for solat, for fasting, hajj and zakah. .. There is
a specific time when Allah granted our doa easily. There is an exact time for fruit to
ripe, a flower to blossom, a butterfly
leaves the cocoon, the 4 seasons to come, detail time to get the mixture become fluffy and etc etc....All I can say that nothing works without time, yes even to the
experiment in the lab requires time and perseverance, time for a research maturity, saturation of data, time to do transcribing ….bla..bla…all I can say that everything revolves around time. So time is the precious gift in this world.
The time that I have
as PhD student, really make me realizes that time is at every nook and cranny of
our life. I agree that one of the precious lesson in doing PhD is I have a time on my own...to plan my work, to gain more knowledge, to be close to Allah, to do a lot of reflective thinking, more time to perform extra solat...ermm.. In fact, Allah continuously reminds us the
significant of time…He puts it in the special place...Surah Al-Asr…. Time is
precious…too precious that nothing in this world can buy time….the billionaire
may delay the flight schedule, may get shorter time to move from one place to
another using superjet...but no one can
stop whenever the time comes for you to lose your life. Only Allah knows when is
the best time for everything that we do and we face, marriage, success,
fortune, trial, tribulation and death are all works in the miracle of time…..So
if you people out there having a rough time, a fail plan…trust Allah, the TIME will come....trust me His
plan is the best and His TIME is the best...
Certainly this entry
is a gentle reminder to me….reminder to repent, to do good deeds, to give a lot of donation, to do charity, to forgive bad people in my life, to spend more time with my family, to take care of my
health, to finish my work, to……..the list is endless….
Ermm tetiba teringat
pertanyaan Iman Syafie apa yg makin jauh dan dekat dengan kita…
