This entry has nothing to do with whatever happen in our country now......
This entry is about two prominent figures who shockingly bid farewell in their respective fields..After long serving years, both Tuan Guru Nik Abdul Aziz (TGNA) again nothing to do with politics here!! and Sir Alex Ferguson (Gaffer) called it a day to quit...
Regardless of political party that you associate with and football team that you pledge your alliances, you cannot deny the superiority, caliber, charismatic and influence which they brought with them. Their philosophy, their approaches, their thoughts and their contribution were tough act to be followed by their successor.
I was lucky to know and be brought up by this these two influential figures. As Kelantanese, the only Chief Minister that so closed to me is TGNA since 23 years ago. I have met him alive and yes this petite man's ability to voice out his thoughts somehow parallel to Tun Dr. Mahathir. His humble life sets up a good example to be followed and his commitment to be as daie, murabbi, muaddid, mualim and mursyid inspires me. As teacher myself, I have to ensure that my role should transgress beyond mundane things inside the lecture hall. I need to nurture my students to be the best people who will be able to benefit and uphold the words of Allah, Islam and certainly who would give back to the ummah as a whole.

Similarly about Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson (Gaffer) hailed from Govan, Scotland. In his 26 years of his reign as Manchester United manager, he had not only changed the football landscape which was heavily dominated by the Kops in 80's, he has nurtured and produce myriad of football stars. His no-nonsense approach especially with his infamous hairdryer treatment proved to be worked out in the dressing room and on pitch. He was very protective towards his young stars so no wonder he used to chase out Ryan Giggs' guests and stopped his party. He was able to tame Rooney's and Roy Keane's wilderness, Sharpey's and Ronaldo lifestyle and hesitated to Victoria's influence on David Beckham. His winning attitude is second to none and although his decision was tested several times, especially the selling of Beckham, Ronaldo, Paul Ince, Sparky to name a few at the peak of their career, Gaffer had proved that nobody is bigger than the club.

Certainly there are long list of compliments for this two great men, which beyond the mere words to justify what they have done. Frankly am quite dreadful on what will happen after their supremacy. Will their successors able to emulate and retain their legacy? ermm..only time will tell....
