World Cup tournament just descended its curtain; the winner has it all, the loser just bites the bullet. Everybody knows who was the winner and the loser, am not going to discuss on that and whatever premonition made by so-famous octopus Paul. Espana despite losing in the preliminary match advanced further, beat all odd, eventually triumphed and I honestly, will never fond to applaud the Oranje. Particularly the thought of their vile and vicious treatment towards Muslim all over the world, my heart feel the twinge of pain. Hence, I can say that Spain as the new World Cup champion just like an icing on the cake.

Under the name of sport, human was supposed to be united. In the spirit of sport which was born in Athens years ago, human would be gathered despite colours, ethnics and creed differences; to strengthen and bind the ties among homo sapiens. In the name of sportsmanship, the virtue was the greatest nations would be crowned from the rest; power and greed only shown merely to get the victory on the pitch. Alas, ugly things, myriad of coarse incidences on the pitch suggest otherwise. Players cheated, dived, swore, bantered and assaulted other teams for the victory. Outside the pitch even worse, the so called die-hard fans frantically harassed and divulged their emotional belligerence towards others including civilian whenever their sanity gone. Sanity is just like a tip of the iceberg. They would do atrocious thing or acts just to ease their agony and disappointment. They abuse the virtues the spirit of sportsmanship. Humanities are at stake.

Either we realize or not, the virtues of sport which supposed to unite all nations slowly cease and annihilate. Yes, people would glue to the seat, at whatever hours just to celebrate the beauty of the game. Alas, either we conscious or not that team that we adored, cheered was the one who acted crude towards others especially the Muslims. Despite the hullabaloos, euphoria and hypes of World Cup, our Muslims brothers/sisters in Palestine facing barrage of missile attack, bullets here and there. That has long been noted on the books of global knowledge. Recent unscrupulous thing toward our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) initiated none other than by the Oranje itself and we without hesitant supported them? Just like football, the world is at the feet of so-called superpowers nations so they can attack as they wish, fabricate stories as much as they want and disseminate slanders and sanctions as they crave.
Sigh…

On the other note, Malaysia really nowhere in the maps of football, under the radar nowhere to be seen in the World Cup event, let alone to be triumphant in Asia, so to speak. A lot have been said about it so I won’t rub salt to the exposed injury.

On the lighter note - just cant wait to complete my OUM class...one more class to go....:))
