Am supposed to write this entry a week ago...due to the foreseen circumstances (malas actually) so it takes me today to pen my thought on this (basi dah kot yaa)

What is Flushing Meadow? FM is tennis ground in New York, USA..a place which I would love to be..one day!!! FM just like Wimbledon in UK or Rolland Garros in Paris. Thousand of tennis fans gathered to enjoy the aces, baselines, strokes under the scorching heat of summer in US.

This year US Open crowned a new but familiar facade, especially in Men category. Rafael Nadal put shoes in the pundit's mouth as he eventually crowned as champion to the only grand slam that he craved for years. The final between him and Djokovic as if David vs Goliath. Djokovic should displayed his performance when he beat FeDex in a match which I thought Fedex could easily walked out from Arthur Ashes arena as winner. I was gutted to see FeDex lost in a match which he nearly 2 games to win..Sigh!!! Last year he lost to Juan Martin Del-Potro, the young and lanky Argentine. Of course Federer will bounce back and I would anticipate his sheer presence in Melbourne come January 2011.

Kim Clister defended her title and it was pure disbelief that the Williams failed to shine in their favourite, home-ground tournament and the only uproar came from Venus's dazzling fashion on the turf and none on her performance.

So what next?? Davis Cup...and guess what tennis showdown in Malaysia...but no FeDex, no Nadal...ermmm Soderling pun ok what..hehehe...
