Reminiscence # 2 Bath Spa
Let me continue what was left before.....
Bath Spa is about 35 or 45 minutes from Bristol, by train. Indeed, Bath is one of the beautiful place to be visited, a scenic country-side view and certainly with its fresh air....awesome...
Train station - from Bristol Temple Meads to Bath Spa.
First Great Western Train in UK.
Affordable and efficient. For a long distance journey, let say from Bristol to Oxford or York, buy tickets in-advance as the price increases if you leave it late. Booking can be done online (highly recommended), choose non-peak journey and a return ticket.
Upon arrival, we saw this bus....but we choose to explore Bath by foot...
This huge sing-post is a great help to navigate our way (even for the wc sign hehehe)

Nearby to Bath Abbey is the Roman Bath (in which some fee incur)
and The Pump room
Bath also famous for Jane Austen...the famous author, her works were used extensively in English literature, even translated into silver-screen like The Pride and Prejudice..
Unfortunately, this ticket needs to be returned!!
Me and Mr Darcy? hehehe

The annual event held every September in Bath.
Participants from over the world wear the costume as you can see above and they will parade.

The last destination on that day sauntering along the park (forgot its name)
The above pic is the Pulteney Bridge
Personally I enjoy a day trip to Bath..and this writing was done in the midst of heavy piles of jobs to be completed within short time...I admit writing a travelogue is a theraphy for me.....
Insha Allah with Allah's willing next entry is about Western Super-Mare.
happy working for me on Saturday night while the Man Utd game vs Sunderland is on telly now...
